Dips and Chins for Beginners

Question

I know you love dips and chins, but I’m just not strong enough to do them yet.

What’s the best way to get there???

Answer

Dips and chins go together like peanut butter and jelly.

Both are what I call level 7 movements, moving the body and weight through space simultaneously.

And, both are considerably better for muscle grow than the bench press or lat pulldowns.

To add to that, the close grip palms up chin in is the best biceps builder in the world.

Why? Because they work the biceps through origin (shoulder) to insertion (elbow).

Having said that, the gravitron assisted dip/chin station is dynamite for getting strong enough to perform them (eventually) without help.

It is far superior, in my opinion, to bands, negatives, partials etc.
